The Marmòris group started in 2013 with the opening of its first hotel, the Alentejo Marmòris Hotel & Spa in Vila Viçosa. A group managed by a family that for several generations has been linked to the marble industry, but which, with the dream of entering the tourism sector, made the perfect combination and the Marmòris hotels were born. The group currently consists of three hotels distributed between Vila Viçosa, considered the princess of Alentejo, and Sintra, the romantic village of Portugal. Two historic destinations with characteristic units that set them apart from the rest and that delight all who visit them.

Sintra Marmòris Palace is the soul of a property designed and built at the end of the 19th century and restored almost 100 years later. It opened in May 2017 with a 19th century Romantic style that characterizes Sintra so much. It seeks to convey to its guests the comfort and intimacy of a house and a family atmosphere. The most recent Sintra Marmòris Camélia, opened its doors in December 2022, located in Sintra is a smaller unit, but equally beautiful and luxurious, at the entrance to the village of Sintra and the famous road that they call “Volta do Duche”. This will be the ideal house for those who want to visit Sintra, being able to enjoy the facilities of the Sintra Marmòris Palace which is just 5 minutes away on foot.
