The History of Camélia
At the Sintra Marmòris Camélia, each floor pays tribute to an emblematic monument in Sintra, and the rooms on that floor are named after historical figures linked to that very monument. As you go up in our glass elevator, you will be able to see the monument corresponding to the floor you are on—a journey through the history of Sintra with every movement. The rooms, and their respective keys, are identified with these names. In honor of the hotel's name, the elevator doors on each floor, as well as the reception, have been hand-painted with different flowers, with the largest painting, a camellia, welcoming guests at the reception.
