Meet our Chef Hugo Bernardo
He studied at the Estoril Hotel School and graduated in hotel management at ISPI. He had a restaurant in Oeiras where he worked in the kitchen and it was here that he had his first “serious” experience in the kitchen, earning the appreciation of many customers.
He held positions as a hotel manager and assistant manager for several years, and 5 years ago he moved to Alentejo until he ended up in Estremoz. Here he brings together a little of what he has gathered throughout his life, from his travels, the places he has worked, and the people he has worked with.
He felt that his calling was in the kitchen, and so he returned to the field.
He was nominated twice by Mais Alentejo magazine in the “Best Chef” category, winning one of these prestigious awards.
Today, chef Hugo Bernardo takes the lead at Restaurante Primavera in the Alentejo Marmòris Hotel and Spa in Vila Viçosa, and long and delicious chapters of a new adventure between pots and wooden spoons are expected.
